Rev. Rose graduated from Harvard Divinity School in 1983 and began serving North Congregational Church as its senior minister that fall. He became the senior minister of North- Prospect Church when North Congregational and Prospect Congregational Churches joined in 1985, and the senior minister of North Prospect Union Church when North-Prospect and North Street Union Churches joined in 2006.
In addition Rev. Rose has served at Harvard Divinity School since 1987, where he currently is the Associate Dean for Ministry Studies and lecturer in ministry in the faculty of Divinity.
Rev. O’Brien graduated from Harvard Divinity School in 2005 and began serving North Prospect Union UCC as Associate Minister in 2007. In addition Rev. O’Brien has served as on-call chaplain for Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts and is currently a member of The Task Force for Medical Ethics in Pastoral Care; a joint project of Harvard Divinity School, Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Frankfurt University. Rev. O’Brien also holds graduate degrees in musicology and conducting from The New England Conservatory in Boston, Massachusetts.
